Constar manufactures a variety of PET, HDPE and polypropylene containers for major brand marketers of peanut butter, ketchup, edible oils, salad dressings and sauces; and produces bottles for some of the largest manufacturers of private label food products.
Wide-mouth food containers represent another area of potential growth for us, as companies continue to convert such products as salsa, pasta sauce, pickles, jellies and preserves to PET containers. Our innovations in the food market include the first wide mouth peanut butter container and the first squeezable container for mustard. Constar has also played a major role in developing and commercializing the oval bottles for pourable salad dressings.
