Visitors to www.constar.net are greeted by a much more engaging home page with new areas of dynamic content and new information categories. The most dramatic change is a revolving flash animation showcasing Constar success stories including Fog Mountain Merlot in a one liter PET bottle, Hunts® Ketchup in PET bottles with DiamondClear®, AriZona Tea in hot fill PET bottles with Vertical Compensation Technology™, and ReaLemon® PET bottles with a unique brand-building design. New areas of dynamic content include Featured Technology, Sustainability, News, and Straight Talk from Constar CEO Mike Hoffman, a forum in which Hoffman will share his insights into Constar and the packaging world at large.
Hoffman says the goal of Constar's new website is to introduce current, and future, customers to the re-energized packaging company, its motivated team and its industry-leading technologies. "Packaging is a dynamic industry that is constantly changing and looking for new ways to attract consumers and build brand loyalty. The Technologies section showcases Constar’s expertise in both barrier and hot fill technologies. The Design Services section was new to the site and details Constar’s investments in its proprietary design and engineering tools, CONSTruct™ advanced predictive engineering software and i-Design™. I-Design is an automated package development software that dramatically reduces package development time: Projects that traditionally have taken as much as 40 hours of intense design by an experienced packaging engineer can now be done in a matter of minutes. Design and engineering services are a true point of differentiation for Constar.
The website has other user-friendly features. Current customers have access to helpful documents on Constar's policies. Investors can sign up for financial news updates. Job applicants can apply online. The Contact Us page actually includes people to contact rather than general emails and numbers, a rarity in today's corporate world. Google Map makes it easy for visitors to find Constar's Philadelphia headquarters. The website also has been search engine optimized to help those looking for specified PET bottle, container, and preform solutions find Constar.
